Entries & Results - July 11th Update

Lerato N–Lerato burst out of the gate with early speed, quickly taking the lead along the rail. She faced immediate pressure from a rival on the outside, with the opening quarter clocking in at a sharp 27.2 seconds. As they rounded the turn by the tote board, the outside challenger took over the lead, forcing Lerato to settle in behind.

Not long after, she found herself locked in with nowhere to go. Heading into the final turn, she swung two-wide to follow some cover, looking to escape a tiring horse in front of her. Once she broke free, she came flying down the stretch with a powerful finish!

If the stretch had been just a bit longer, she might have grabbed 3rd—but she closed well to finish a strong 4th tonight!

Dylan the Great- Dylan is back in action this Sunday in Race 11, starting from Post Position 2. He’s dropped down in class and will not be competing in the “Open” division this week – a great opportunity to see what he can do in this new spot!

Cut A Rug (Carter)'s - Cut A Rug will also hit the track Sunday in Race 10, drawing Post Position 7. Mooney will be back in the race bike!
