Lerato N- Brian and Lerato floated off the car, landing at the back to bide their time against this tough bunch of mares. With ️lightning fractions of :26.4 for the opening quarter and :55.2 to the half, it turned out to be the perfect spot for her. As the outer flow developed down the backside, Lerato was able to sneak up the rail and get closer while the pace never let up. Twisted Bliss won in a smoking 1:51.3, the fastest mile in years Lerato has competed in.
Although she finished 8th in this field, she raced super! Last night she paced as fast as she has all season — tying the seasonal best she set just last week of 1:53.1 — with a matching final quarter of :28.3. We should be very proud!
Dylan the Great-Dylan is set to race this Sunday, August 10th, in Race 9 — Post Position 3! He’ll be competing in the Steve Wiseman Memorial Race Preview, facing off against a strong and competitive field.
Let’s wish him the best of luck as he gears up for this meaningful race!
Cut A Rug (Carter)'s - Ironwood, WI Recap!
Cut A Rug had a double duty day — racing twice!
• Race 1: Carter shook off the dust with a solid 3rd place finish.
• Race 2: Ha came back fired up and ready to roll! Carter left out of the gate to land on top, hitting the quarter in 28.4. Just before the 3/4 pole, Carter let loose, opened up by 4 lengths, and never looked back — crossing the wire in 1:59.3, the fastest time of the day!
Big congrats to Carter & team — two races, two strong performances, and one blazing-fast victory!
