MHRI hires Executive Director
The Minnesota Harness racing board voted to hire Susan Schroeder as it's new executive director effective March 1st 2012. 
Susan brings a wealth of experience to our organization and will be an advocate for the horsemen at Running Aces and at the fairs. We look forward to our future growth and an opportunity to serve Harness racing in Minnesota at a more professional level in the near future.

                                                      2012 Dates approved      
    The Minnesota Racing commission approved the 2012 racing dates for the Running Aces meet on November 15th. 
          The meet will begin on Wednesday June 6th and continue through Labor day (Sept. 3) 2012.
Race days will be the same as 2011 racing Tuesday, Wednesday, Saturday, & Sunday evenings.
                                   Annual Meeting

       The MHRI anual meeting date is set for Saturday, February 4th, 2012 at Running Aces. Five board positions will be up this year. Four of them are 3 year terms & the last one is to fulfill the final year of Don Schimeks term.
Welcome reception at 1:00 p.m. business meeting at 2:00, special guest speaker via SKYPE Chris Wittstruck at 4:00 p.m.
Buffet style dinner will be served at 5:30  cost is $20 per person.
